  16. This little util should be used on startup time. It will wait
  17. until all devices are validated by letting only one device for
  18. validation at the same time. Therefore it prevents the noise and
  19. slowdown. If validation error appears then filerequester (ASL)
  20. will be opened to choose Your salvage program (for instance
  21. AmiBackTools). Of course it will be executed, so you can repair
  22. the partition. There is one exception - if bug requester appears
  23. before VAL is executed then this feature fails and user has to
  24. reboot and boot without startup-sequence to run his salvager by
  25. hand... :-(

  27. Please remember that this program has no use when you have working
  28. reset handler logic (lucky - use DiskSafe.lha instead then). Also
  29. users of non-validating filesystems shouldn't be so silly to install
  30. this tool as it is useless in their case.

  32. This program is also useless against incredible and extremely
  33. seldom bugs like damaged filesystem, damaged driveinit code and
  34. other almost impossible things :-(
